Training - Reiki

Learn Reiki to use on your family and friends, or if you would like to use Reiki professionally take the first step on your journey here.

 

The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on intellectual capacity, nor does one have to be able to meditate.  It does not take years of practice.  It is simply passed on from the teacher to the student.  As soon as this happens, one has and can do Reiki.  Because of this, it is easily learned by anyone.

 

Reiki is a pure form of healing not dependent on individual talent or acquired ability.  Because of this, the personality of the healer is less likely to cloud the significance of the experience.  The feeling of being connected directly to God's healing love and protection is clearly apparent.

 

Reiki is an extremely gentle, yet very powerful, form of healing. It is a hands-on healing art that helps to restore balance and harmony within the mind and body.  It is used successfully by a great many people throughout Cork, Ireland and the world.  People of all creeds and belief systems use Reiki to fantastic effect.

 

Who can learn Reiki?

There are no prerequisites for being attuned to Reiki Level 1.  It is suitable for everyone, and everyone is welcome to learn this wonderful healing art.  A Cork Reiki First Degree, or Level 1 workshop / course is the ideal introduction to Reiki.

Reiki Level 1 Training

 

Day 1 : 

During the first day of your Reiki First Degree course in Cork you will cover the following:

 

• Learn the history and origins of Reiki

• Learn how to become a channel for the Reiki energy

• Discover the major chakras

• How to clear and heal the aura

 

Day 2 : 

During your second day of your Reiki First Degree course you will also cover the following:

 

• Discussion about the potential healing power of Reiki

• Learn twelve hand healing positions

• Learn how give and receive a full Reiki treatment

• Learn about balancing the chakras

 

All Reiki Level 1 course participants will receive a detailed and comprehensive manual for future reference. You will also receive a Reiki First Degree certificate.

 

 

 

Reiki Level 2 Training

 

Traditionally, Reiki II class is not an open class, it is applied for.  The student requests to advance from from level one to level two.  If the instructor (Reiki Master/Teacher) feels the student is ready for advancement then they will be accepted into the class.  It is highly recommended that there be 3 months pass between the Reiki I initiation and Reiki II initiation, minimally, 21 days.

 

Are you ready to advance to Level 2? 

Here are a few questions for the Reiki I student to ask herself/himself before moving on to Reiki 2.

 

• Are you ready for 2nd degree?

• Can you feel when Reiki is drawing?

• Do you have a general understanding of Reiki?

• Do you use Reiki on a regular basis?

• How often do you conduct self treatments?

• How important is it for you to learn how to do absentia Reiki?

• Are you clear about your reasons for wanting to become Reiki II?

 

Reiki Level 2 is taught in two consecutive days

 

Day 1 :  

• Brief Open DiscussionReview of Reiki level 1.  Why are you taking this class?  What are your expectations?  Do you have any questions about 1st degree Reiki?

• Introduction to the Reiki level 2 symbols  Taught names and pronunciations of the Reiki Symbols  Taught meanings (intentions) of each symbol.

• Receive first of two attunements.

• Drawing the SymbolsThere are 3 separate Reiki symbols to learn.  It is important to learn how to draw them precisely, learn the power of the symbols, and learn the proper pronunciation and spelling of them.  Sketch pads and colored markers are provided.  Students practice, practice, and practice more.  This is fun!  As we draw the symbols students begin to get impressions about them, intuitively perceiving the individual symbols and their unique energies.  Although the symbols are often visualized in healing sessions it is utmost important that the Reiki level 2 practitioner knows how to draw the symbol beforehand.

• Homework Assignment; The Reiki symbols. 

 

Day 2 :

• Draw the symbols and write the names of the symbols for the instructor.  Give the meaning (power ) of each symbol.

• Review the use and power of each symbol.

• Receive second attunement.

• Experience the increased flow of the Reiki by placing the symbols into your body.

• Discuss how Reiki has to be brought into the physical before it can be used.

• Learn the step by step formula of using the symbols in sending Reiki long distance.

• Practice sending absent Reiki.

• Learn how to use surrogates as a focusing tool for distance healing.

• Taught how Reiki can be sent into the past or the future.

• Question / Answer Period

• End of Class - Congratulations, You are Reiki Level 2.

 

About the Reiki Attunement Process :

Reiki attunements open and expand the Ki-holding capacity or the Hara Line and clear energy blockages.  They open a channel for the Reiki energy to flow from practitioner to client.  The more a practitioner uses Reiki the clearer and stronger the flow becomes. The attunement process is what makes Reiki stand apart from other types of healing systems.  Although others healing arts may use hand positions on the client, only Reiki has the wonderful benefit of the attunement process.  For this reason, you cannot learn Reiki through reading about it, it has to be experienced.  Reiki can become a way of life if that is what you make of it.

 

 

 

 

Reiki Level 3 Training

 

The joys of becoming a Reiki Master are many and you don't necessarily have to teach in order for the Master training to be useful.  The additional healing energy, symbols, techniques and knowledge will add value to your healing abilities.  Treating yourself, giving yourself and others healing attunements and treating others in person and at a distance will all be noticeably improved.  The fact that you can pass Reiki on to friends and family is also a definite plus.  Many take the Master training with just this in mind.  However, if you ever decide to formally teach, you will be able to do so.  As each person takes the Reiki Master training, and increases their personal vibration, this adds to the vibration of the whole planet!

 

Becoming a Reiki Master is a serious step that must be preceded by necessary preparation.  One must first take Reiki levels 1 and 2, and Advanced Reiki training.  It is also necessary to meditate on your life purpose and decide if Reiki Mastership is in harmony with it.

 

Who can become a Reiki Master Teacher?

You can!  At this level you receive the powerful master attunement that lifts the system energetically to even greater heights and inner depths.  This course introduces the master symbol and shows you how to use it for healing and transformation.  You learn many techniques on using the knowledge to help others but primarily this level focuses on self-mastery.  Well, you need to have taken first and second degree already, and i recommend that you leave at least six months between your second degree and master teacher courses. This gives you a chance to get grips with, and practise, what you learned.  It’s not a race!  And if you’re coming from a different lineage, that’s no problem.  The master level energy has a tendency to bring up repressed issues that still need dealing with so it is helpful to get as much practise as you can before taking master practitioner.

 

Deepen your self-healing :

You should already have experienced that sense of peace, contentment and serenity that Reiki brings you, and perhaps experienced a spiritual awakening.  Now you will carry out special meditations using kotodama: Shinto mantras taught by Reiki’s founder, Mikao Usui, in the 1920s.  Deepen your self-healing by focusing on energies that bring powerful physical and emotional balancing and bring a deep sense of connection.

 

Explore intuition and intent :

An important part of the Master Teacher level is to full open to your intuitive powers and to explore the power of intent.  You”ll learn how to allow the energy to guide you and provide you with all the insights you need to help people in the most powerful way.
